You do not need to know what to talk about, to come to therapy, or even have a specific problem. Show up, ready to change and grow, and the rest is my job.
I like working with clients who are ready to change, even if they are not sure exactly what they want to change yet. I enjoy helping people define what a “good,” or “better” life would look like for them, and exploring - and, conquering - blocks to achieving this.
Sometimes, this involves going backwards, and exploring past patterns. Other times, it is about moving forward. We define this, together. I welcome all to work with me. As a mixed race (Jamaican/German), BIPOC, queer, and non-binary therapist, I love serving members of my community. I also enjoy helping people overcome blocks to creativity and business. I excel at helping people get “unstuck,” and get meaningful and sustainable results from therapy. I help people identify, and break out of, cycles. Clients may struggle with routine, relationships, mood disorders, focus, getting started, a creative rut, or trauma triggers. I specialize in adult ADHD, but welcome clients from all backgrounds to work with me.
If you think we would sound like a good match, please reach out for a free consult. You can email me, or click the link the link to my booking page, to schedule your free consultation. Looking forward to connecting!

Fatima has also received training in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Mental Health First-Aid, Trauma-Informed Practice, and and Cultural Sensitivity Training. In her spare time, Fatima can be found spending time with her miniature dachshund, Chai, or practicing self-care in nature with a good book.

Chelsea Brewer
(She/Her/Hers)
My name is Chelsea Brewer, and I am an Intern Counsellor with U-Matter Counselling & Coaching Services. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and am currently completing a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Born and raised in North Vancouver, I continue to live and work in the Lower Mainland. For the past several years, I have worked as a Youth & Family Support Worker, supporting youth with diverse needs—including those with ADHD, Autism, and FASD. In this role, I assist youth and their families in navigating challenges, fostering resilience, and helping them thrive. My personal experience with ADHD has also deepened my understanding of the unique strengths and challenges associated with neurodiversity, enriching my empathy and insight as a counsellor. Several years ago, I recovered from a motor vehicle accident that profoundly impacted my life. Through this experience, I found healing with the guidance of a counsellor who supported me through the healing process. This transformative experience inspired my path to becoming a counsellor. I believe that establishing a therapeutic rapport is paramount in the counselling process, and I am committed to walking alongside clients, helping them uncover their innate resilience. When I am not at work, I enjoy immersing myself in the natural beauty the lower mainland has to offer through activities like hiking, skiing, and camping. Additionally, I am a passionate food enthusiast and love exploring new restaurants and culinary experiences. Therapeutic Approach My therapeutic approach is grounded in deep respect for each person’s uniqueness and inherent worth. Through a collaborative and empathetic process, I aim to create a supportive, transformative space where clients can explore their inner world, strengthen relationships, and work toward authenticity, connection, and well-being. My practice draws on Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, especially in addressing relational and emotional challenges. This allows me to help clients identify and build on their strengths, highlighting past successes and envisioning positive outcomes. I support clients in identifying and articulating their emotions, exploring underlying relational patterns and attachment needs, and developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. By facilitating emotional expression, validation, and understanding, I help clients foster greater intimacy, connection, and relational satisfaction, empowering them to create positive, lasting change. During our journey together, we will use an integrative therapeutic approach that is trauma-informed, person-centered, and collaborative, ultimately meeting you where you are at on your healing journey
